About Us
Resting Local Face (RLF) is the embodiment of the look worn by the locals who live at vacation destinations. The locals love our tourists deep down but can’t help but wear an RLF when tourists come to a vacation destination and then do or say something…audacious, uneducated, or even dangerous! This often occurs despite being offered sound advice or help from well-salted locals. Born on the crystal coast of North Carolina, RLF has seen and heard things…like small children playing in hurricane surf, digging holes on the beach bigger than an F150, sedans attempting a beach drive and constant demands for all you can eat “local” snow or king crab legs. If you need to identify a local on your vacation, look for a knowing smirk or the one sitting with a smile on the most isolated section of beach. But bottom line…come on down and have fun…be safe and be smart…and if you’re not, RLF will be there!
